The Citizens Bank is a strong supporter of city, county, and tribal schools.

In another effort to support the children of our communities, The Citizens Bank gives away scholarship money. The scholarship is known as the Rewards A’s Scholarship. We give nine $1,000.00 scholarships (one for each county we serve) to a high school Junior or Senior each year.

The Citizens Bank has been a major participant in Neshoba County’s American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life since it first began. The bank’s team has collected over a $100,000.00 during this time that goes directly to the American Cancer Society to be used to help fight for a cure.

The Citizens Bank goes beyond monetary contributions with employees who are very generous with their time. Our employees are at their best when they are helping people – not only our customers but people in our communities. Employees from all levels of the organization participate in all aspects in their community. Our employees hold membership and leadership roles in area organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Sertoma Club, Rotary Club, Boys and Girls Club, Industrial Development Authority, Main Street Association, Community Development Partnership, Junior Auxiliary, and Lions Club. Employees also serve on church boards, coach youth teams, volunteer time at local schools and other various community events. Our employees operate as ambassadors for our bank in the communities we serve.
